SPORTS cars, houses and designer clothes have all been on the shopping lists of members of a lucky lottery syndicate.The five members of staff who all work at the same business each won a share of £400,000 back in March and have been busy spending their winnings ever since.Shop owner, Richard Pople, aged 45, has always said says he plans to carry on running the business with the other winners - his daughters Jemima and Colette, Jemima's husband Pete and family friend Ian Parsons.They struck gold after all six of their number came up on the lottery.Colette, aged 19, has bought a long list of extravagant treats including an £18,000 car.She said: "I have bought a brand new black Honda Civic Type R, been shopping and bought a 46in television for my bedroom and I've still got £50,000 left."Jemima and Pete, who have two children, won nearly £160,000 between them.Jemima, aged 21, said: "We have found a three bed semi-detached house in Burnham we are going to buy and I bought a nearly new Peugeot 307. I also went to London and when I was there I bought my three-month-old daughter a Dolce and Gabbana dress."Pete is keeping a bit quiet about it. He is watching the pennies but he has given his mum some money to say thank-you."Ian, aged 50, says that his life has changed since his big windfall.He said: "I have had a hectic life. I have paid my mortgage off and had a new conservatory and a four-piece suite. But I'm going to decorate the house myself. I have to watch my money because I only work part-time. "People stop me in the street by the hundreds saying they are glad to know some lottery winners."My two sons have had what they want. I am paying for a holiday for one and his girlfriend and my 14-year-old has had a football kit and a Playstation Two."It's amazing how kids can spend. A £5 shirt and trousers would do me."The lucky five all work at Pople's Domestic Appliance Repair Centre in Abingdon Street, Burnham.
