Two villages will host fun-filled harvest homes to mark the end of summer this weekend.

People from Lympsham and the Allerton villages will enjoy the traditional British feast and celebration this Saturday.

Guests will be able to sit back and dig into a selection of meats, pies, cheeses and desserts, as well as taste the local beers and ciders.

After the meal, there will be live entertainment from local bands and sports to help diners run off their delicious meal.

The harvest home in Lympsham will be held at the village’s sports club, in Rectory Way and will start at noon.

Tickets, priced £19, are available from the sports club.

The Allerton harvest event will be held at the cricket ground in Chapel Allerton’s New Road, and will run from noon until midnight.

Tickets, priced £2-17, are available from www.tickettailor.com
