There are queues on the M5 this morning (Saturday) after an earlier accident, causing delays.

Two lanes were closed southbound between junction 21 for Weston-super-Mare and junction 22 for Burnham-on-Sea, according to Avon and Somerset Police.

The accident has now been moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes have re-opned.

However, drivers are being advised to leave extra time for their journeys due to the incident and resulting congestion.
