Man and boy arrested over drug offences in Weston

A teenage boy and a 46-year-old man were arrested in Weston-super-Mare last night (Thursday) on suspicion of drug offences.
The Weston man and 17-year-old boy, who is from London, were arrested by police in Station Road just before 7pm.
Officers pulled the car over and seized what is believed to be crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and money.
The pair were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Mark Jenkinson said: “We are grateful for the support of the community for our work, alongside the council and other agencies, to reduce drug dealing and the crime and antisocial behaviour which comes with it.
“We need support as information from the community helps us target our patrols and identify those responsible.”
