A MAN has been arrested in connection with a woman’s death following a car crash last month.

Alice Hicks, aged 27, was involved in the collision with another vehicle on the A38 near Rooksbridge on September 24.

Although she was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, she died of her injuries later that day.

Yesterday police arrested a 33-year-old man from the Axbridge area on suspicion of causing her death by dangerous driving.

He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact them on the 101 number.
