HERE is a round-up of the weekend’s incidents which called for police attention, including disputes and assaults in and around Weston.

• At 6.50pm on Saturday a woman was walking down Lisle Road in Weston when a car pulled up and she was attacked by the female driver. She was pulled to the ground and punched in the face. The attacker has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

• At 10pm on Saturday police were called to a home in Beach Road, Weston after reports of a disturbance. A woman told officers that she had been sexually assaulted. Investigations are ongoing, but police would like anyone with information to contact the force on the 101 number.

• At 10.40pm on Saturday a man was cautioned for common assault after waving an object and swearing in the face of a woman in Ashton Hayes, St Georges.

• On Sunday at 2.30am police were called to Windwhistle Circle in Weston after reports that a woman had been assaulted by her partner. The man was cautioned by officers.
