A man in his 60s died at Pontins Brean Sands.


A man was found dead at Pontins Brean Sands Holiday Park during the Easter weekend.

Emergency services were called to the holiday park, in Coast Road, on Sunday at about 10.20am.

The man, who was in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is not being treated as suspicious by the authorities.

A South West Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 10.21am to a holiday park in Brean and arrived at the scene within 10 minutes.

“It was clear from the call the patient was not breathing and was not conscious.

“Sadly the patient was already deceased on arrival.”

Police were also called to the holiday park after receiving reports of a body being found.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and has 
been referred to the coroner.”
