Man dies despite efforts of air ambulance crew

AN ELDERLY man died yesterday (Sun) despite receiving emergency treatment from Great Western Air Ambulance paramedics.
The air ambulance helicopter landed in Grove Park’s tennis courts in Weston at about 2pm.
Paramedics onboard joined their counterparts who arrived in an ambulance, to try to save the man’s life but to no avail.
The man, who lived near the park, has not been formally identified and no indication as to how he died has been given yet, but paramedics confirmed today he was over 65 years old.
