The body of a man in his 40s was found hanging in a Weston car park on Tuesday night (Nov 28).A woman from South Road, who did not wish to be named, was out walking her dog in Madeira Road car park at around 5pm when she saw someone in the nearby trees.Her husband said: "She left it about 10 minutes and went back to have a look and saw the figure of a man and a rope attached to his neck."He had dropped down from where he was hanging but he was still attached to the rope and was in a slumped position."She came home to me and I phoned the police and ambulance. She was white as a sheet and she was shaking for a while."The police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious but the dead man has yet to be formally identified.A police spokesman said: "It was suggested he'd been dead for about four hours. Enquiries are being made to find his next of kin.
