A MAN who was killed on the M5, after a collision with a lorry, has been identified as the uncle of Dylan Cecil - the toddler who died after falling from Burnham's jetty.
Police have confirmed revealed Peter Thurlow, aged 42, from Kettering, died after attending a memorial event for the youngster in Burnham this week.
Mr Thurlow arrived with other family members to lay flowers on the seafront to mark what would have been Dylan’s sixth birthday.
Dylan drowned in August 2012 after falling from the slipway while on a family holiday. The incident sparked a major search mission and the four-year-old’s body was found four days later near the yacht club in Burnham.
His uncle died on the northbound section of the carriageway, between junctions 22 and 21, yesterday (Wed), at about 12.51am.
Police are now appealing for information and are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling along the motorway at the time of the incident.
Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact the collision investigation unit on the force number 101.
