A man who was involved in a collision with a lorry on the A370 yesterday (Monday) has serious head injuries, it has been confirmed by police.

The incident occurred at around 4.25pm yesterday and caused heavy traffic during rush hour.

A police spokesman told the Mercury the man was airlifted to Southmead Hospital and has ‘serious head injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
