A man has been taken to hospital after a road traffic collision on the A371 in Axbridge earlier today (Friday).

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews from Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea attended the scene at around 14:30 this afternoon, with hydraulic cutting equipment used to remove the male casualty from the vehicle, before being taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
