Man taken to hospital after reports of assault in Weston-super-Mare

A man has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury after police were called to reports of an assault in Weston-super-Mare.

Police and ambulance services responded to a call at 10.45am today (Friday) after reports of an assault and a man unconscious at Heritage Volkswagen showroom in Aisecome Way, Weston.

The man was taken to Weston General Hospital for further treatment.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary officers are still on the scene and are investigating. No arrests have been made.

Any witnesses of the incident are asked to call 101 and reference the log number 357.
