A DANCE-crazy 10-year-old from Worle scooped a prestigious award at the recent Bristol Eisteddfod.

Castle Batch Primary School pupil Megan Elliott, of Ebdon Road, was named the most promising dancer of the entire festival.

She has danced at The Jayne Elizabeth Stage School in Worle from a young age and is already a regular participant in shows and festivals.
