GRAVESTONES will be examined in Cleeve to see if they are safe.
Memorial inspections will be carried out at Holy Trinity in the week commencing February 25.
Since 2005, North Somerset Council has had permission, from the Diocese of Bath and Wells, to examine the structures to make sure they have not become a safety risk.
Memorials found to be unsafe will be laid flat or a temporary support will be used.
