FEAST your eyes on a fine selection of creative pictures snapped by the
next generation of Weston's
up-and-coming photographers.

In recent weeks we’ve been
featuring images from some of the dedicated camera clubs across Weston and beyond.

However, this week we’re turning the spotlight on some younger talents, by offering Weston College students the chance to impress.

Richard Edkins, lecturer in photo media at Weston College, said: “The UAL foundation diploma in art and design, at Weston College, is a
dynamic and industry focused course of national acclaim.

“This qualification enables the student to explore many aspects of the visual arts by way of an introduction to and exploration within fast-paced, industry related pathway choices including photography, media, fashion, textiles, fine art, 3D, sculpture, graphics and illustration, with a view of
progression to higher education and beyond.

“Students respond to a variety of briefs all of which give plenty of room for exploration, in both still and moving image.”

n Remember, you can wow readers by sharing your own pictures. Send them – in jpeg format, and with a
note about the picture subject – to newsdesk@westonmercury.co.uk
