KITE-SURFING, Weston’s beloved donkeys and some stunning natural beauty are all featured in this week’s Mercury Photo Showcase.

This week it is the turn of Bleadon Photographic Club to wow us with some of its members’ most skilled pictures.

Bleadon Photographic Club is a a relatively new group, whose interest in all aspects and techniques of photography will appeal to anyone wishing to improve and enjoy their photographic skills.

Members are actively encouraged to try out the club’s full programme and contribute their knowledge and expertise, so that all members can benefit.

The club meets from September to May in the Coronation Hall, Coronation Road in Bleadon - BS24 0PS for those with satnavs. Meetings are on Tuesday evenings, with the exception of the third Tuesday in each month, at 7.30pm.

The group is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Western Counties Photographic Federation.
