PEOPLE from around the world are desperate to get their hands on a copy of the Mercury which broke the news of Banksy’s Dismaland show – so much so it is selling on eBay at a 1,500 per cent mark up.

The show has already been hailed as a ‘great boost’ for Weston-super-Mare and could bring more than £7million into the local economy, but we did not expect to see the paper selling for more than £10 on eBay.

Don’t worry though, you can still get yours for 80p at shops across North Somerset or from the Weston Mercury’s office at 32 Waterloo Street.

The Mercury’s world exclusive hit the shelves on Thursday, confirming rumours the street artist had chosen the Tropicana as the venue for his biggest show to date.

Dismaland includes 10 never-seen-before pieces from Banksy and showcases the work of more than 50 artists. Click this link for a gallery of more than 60 pictures from inside.

Massive Attack and other big names will also be performing during a series of musical gigs.
