REPORTERS at the Somerset Mercury have a right royal search on their hands.Ahead of a planned visit to the district by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on July 20, our newsdesk team has been trawling the archives for images of the royals as they arrived in town for the Silver Jubilee celebration in 1977.At the time the Queen and the Duke arrived to a red carpet reception before heading to a party on Weston's Beach Lawns where they were met by thousands of cheering people.During their search a picture was found of three lucky young ladies who were given the opportunity to present the Queen with a stick of Weston rock.The Somerset Mercury is now trying to trace them.
