A yellow weather warning for ice is in place across North Somerset this morning.

Ice is likely to form on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, posing an increasing risk of accidents and injuries from slips and falls.

The Met Office is urging people to take care on the roads and leave extra time for journeys.

The ice is expected to thaw from around 9am this morning (Tuesday) as temperatures start to rise.
