A LEADING councillor has been selected to fight at the next General Election as the Liberal Democrat candidate.Cllr Mike Bell was chosen by an overwhelming majority by Liberal Democrat members as the prospective MP for the Weston constituency at a meeting on June 16.The 32-year-old, who is North Somerset Council's executive member for finance, said he will spend the next few months talking to voters and organisations like the police about his priorities for the town and listening to their views.
