THE relatives of a missing man are appealing for him to let them know he is safe and well.Richard Perkins, a married father-of-three from Weston, went missing a month ago. He was being treated at Kidderminster Hospital but left on the afternoon of February 2, saying he was going into the town centre.Police believe he went into a bank and asked for buses to Worcester, but he has not been seen since.Mr Perkins has two sons, Steve, aged 36, and Dave, aged 34, and a daughter, Clare, aged 23.He is a former bank manager and for the last eight years ran a holiday flats business in Weston with his wife Heather, which they recently sold.Heather, aged 58, pleaded for him to get in touch. She said: "We all miss him and want him found safe and well so he can get the help he needs. "We are desperately worried about him. If he wants some time to himself it's absolutely fine but we just need to know he is okay."We have a beautiful one-year-old granddaughter. Children change so quickly at this age and it would be a terrible shame if Richard missed out on this wonderful time." North Worcestershire detective inspector Mark Colquhoun said: "It is possible Mr Perkins is between Kidderminster and Weston. He is vulnerable and as time goes on concern for him increases. We know he has money on him and he may be staying in a hotel or guest house."Mr Perkins is white, 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build with blue eyes and mousy brown short hair. He has a small scar under his chin and was wearing a grey suit jacket and grey trousers. Anyone with information should call Kidderminster police on 08457 444888.
