A woman who police were ‘very concerned’ for after not being seen for more than 24 hours has been found safe.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary issued a plea to find Rachael Osborne yesterday (Thursday), after she had not been seen since leaving her Locking home the previous morning.

The force said it was ‘very concerned for Rachael’s welfare’.

Dozens of Mercury readers shared the appeal on social media, and police have today (Friday) announced she has been found.

A spokesman said: “Thank you to all those who shared our appeal to find Rachel Osborne.

“She has thankfully been found safe.”
