A missing dog has returned home after almost a month away from her family.

Bean the dog was reunited with the Forman family over Easter weekend after going missing from the family’s home near Congresbury on April 4.

The three-year-old whippet/lurcher cross was originally a rescue dog and the family were left ‘devastated’ after she went missing.

The Forman’s clubbed together to put up a £1,000 reward for Bean’s safe return

The family also set up a Facebook group to spread the word and find Bean.

Dave Forman wrote on Tuesday: “Bean is home again. We are all a bit shattered but ecstatic. We can’t thank everyone enough.

“She returned safely in the early hours of Tuesday morning.”

The group’s followers rushed to welcome the pooch home and share their well wishes.
