Fears are growing for the welfare of a missing Worcestershire woman who is believed to be in Weston.
West Mercia Police is appealing for help to trace Cathryn Band, aged 55, who was last seen at her home yesterday morning (Friday).
Inspector Mark Smith said: “Cathryn is dependent on medication every 48 hours and as time goes on we are growing more and more concerned for her welfare. “She could still be in the Worcester area but it is also possible that she has travelled to Weston.
“This is highly out of character for her and we urge anyone who sees a woman matching Cathryn’s description to call police immediately on 101.”
Cathryn is white, 5ft2 in height, of a large build with short, mousey-coloured hair and blue eyes.
She is thought to be using a walking frame and wearing a silver bangle on her right arm and several rings on her fingers.
Anyone with any information about Cathryn’s whereabouts is asked to call 101 and ask for West Mercia Police.
