The Late Summer Model Railway Show was held at The Campus in Highlands Lane, Locking Castle, in September.

Hundreds of railway enthusiasts visited the exhibition and the show raised a total of £3,600.

The money has now been given to two charities, Weston Hospicecare and Castle Kids Club, which is a children’s holiday club based at The Campus.

The railway show’s organiser Keith Price said: “This was a new show, we normally do a January show but we did the September show for the first time. We had 800 people through the door.

“Over the years we have raised £27,000 for the hospice.”
