A MODEL train show is to return in the New Year, organisers have announced.

The exhibition, held annually for the past six years, will be back at The Campus on January 11.

Keith Price, who has organised each show, said people come from far and wide to enjoy the spectacle.

He said: “Last year when I looked back at the raffle forms, I saw we had people from Plymouth, Portsmouth, South Wales and even the West Midlands.

“It has been such a success I am thinking of adding another show for 2015. I’d like to do 20 shows before I retire.”

The previous events have raised more than £20,000 for Weston Hospicecare and Mr Price wants to add to that figure when the exhibition returns in a fortnight’s time.

The show, at the centre in Highlands Lane in Locking Castle, will be open from 10am-5pm.

Admission costs £2-5.50 and family tickets, priced £13, will be available too.
