MEMBERS of a Moose International lodge celebrated its 80th anniversary at a meeting this week.

Burnham Lodge 123, based at Berrow Village Hall, gathered to recognise the anniversary of the Loyal Order of Moose Charter, with town mayor and mayoress Michael and Maria Clark, national vice-president Barry Soley and his wife Glenda all in attendance.

Entertainment was provided by local choir Burnham-on-Song, with toasts made both to the Queen and Moose International, while £200 was raised for good causes through the evening’s raffle.

A cold buffet was prepared by the lodge’s ladies’ circle, and speeches were made by a number members about the anniversary.
