MORE recyclable waste will be collected by the council from today (Mon).

Sedgemoor District Council has announced that aerosols, textiles and paper kitchen towel will now be collected.

Aerosols can go in the same box as food and drink cans. Textiles, such as towels and blankets, must go in a separate plastic bag with a label specifying what is inside. Kitchen towel waste will be collected along with food waste.

The move means approximately 51% of waste in Somerset is now recyclable.
