AFTER another cold night across North Somerset, and light snow showers this afternoon (Sat), weather experts are predicting further snowfall tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued an early warning saying there is a moderate risk that more extreme weather could be heading this way.

Snow began to fall in Weston at about 2.45pm today and further outbreaks of light snow are expected tomorrow and early in the week.

Strong winds are also likely to cause drifting of snow.

The Met Office has also warned that there will be further icy stretches on roads and pavements and drivers are advised to be cautious.
