Motor racing returns to Brean next weekend.

The Brean Stages Rally takes place on January 26-28 and is one of the South West’s most popular motorsport events, with entrants from across the UK.

The weekend begins with a pre-rally scrutineering where cars will arrive at Weston College’s Automotive and Motorsport Technology Centre, in Locking Road, from 1-6pm on January 26 for inspection.

This will be open to the public, who will have the opportunity to view the rally cars and meet the drivers.

The rally takes place within the grounds of Brean Leisure Park, in Coast Road, and is organised and promoted by Club Rallysport West. Gates open at 8.30am both days, with a car park charge of £5.

Tickets, priced £10 for the weekend, with free admission for children under 12, include a programme and can be bought on the gate.
