MP's wife gets Lords peerage

THE wife of Weston's MP has been made a peer at the House of Lords.

Dido Harding, chief executive of TalkTalk Telecom Group PLC and wife of John Penrose, will be a ‘working peer’ following a nomination by the Conservative Party.

She was one of 22 people named on Friday by the Government to become a part of the House of Lords.
