A SOMERSET MP took a charity's staff on a guided tour of Parliament this month in recognition of their work on helping those with addictions.

Somewhere House in Burnham provides therapy to those suffering from addictions such as drugs, alcohol and gambling.

MP Tessa Munt took staff and clients of the charity around the House of Commons before the group observed a debate in the Chamber.

MP Tessa Munt said: ““Somewhere House are fantastic and I’ve seen how they work tirelessly to help many people get back on their feet.

“I am proud to be a patron for this local charity and it was wonderful to have them up here to visit Westminster.”
