A MEMBER of Parliament visited life-saving people in Burnham this week.
David Heathcoat-Amory, the MP for the Wells Constituency, visited Burnham Area Rescue Boat members on at their station on the seafront.
Mr Heathcoat-Amory met senior pilot Pete Charles, secretary Roger Flower and crew members during his visit on Saturday.
The MP said: "The group has had a busy summer rescuing visitors from dangerous mud flats and beaches and they deserve all our thanks and support.
