9am - 04.09.07 RESCUE hovercrafts from Burnham were called out to mudflats after concerns for people walking in the dangerous mud.
The Burnham Area Rescue Boat was called out by the coastguard yesterday (Monday) to conduct a search of the area near Lark Spit after two people were seen wading in the mud one mile from the shore.
A search began at 4pm, of a two mile area, but there was no sign of any walkers so the search was called off.
