Multicultural event held in Weston-super-Mare

VARIOUS multicultural events have been held at St Paul’s Church in Weston-super-Mare in recent years, but at the weekend it was English traditions which were on show.
The church, in Walliscote Road, has previously put on tapas and Spanish wine tasting events, so the English members of the group responded by organising a barn dance and cider-tasting event on Saturday.
People turned up dressed in checked shirts, with cowboy hats topping off their country attire.
There was a hog roast and a range of Somerset ciders on offer to try while a band filled the church with country music so people could try their hand at line-dancing.
