TALENTED musicians and singers wowed the judges at Nailsea Festival of Music.More than 100 performers entered the competition, battling it out on their violins, pianos and woodwind instruments in a bid to take home a cup.This is the second year of the music festival and entries were up by 40 per cent compared to last year.Chairman Cynthia Dobson said: "It went very well and we're hoping to open up even more classes next year for speech and drama and organ music."Performances were put on in four venues across the town and audiences enjoyed a host of musical entertainment from people of all ages and abilities. Nailsea Festival of Music is a charity and organisers are appealing for more people to sponsor the event to enable the spectacle to be held every year.Anyone interested can contact Cynthia through the website at www.nfom.org.uk
