FORMER pupils from Backwell returned to their old school to put on a concert for a group of school children.

Young musicians from Redland High School in Bristol took their instruments along to Fairfield School, Fairfield Way, to perform in a special assembly.

The visit was arranged to show youngsters how their musical skills can progress.

Pupils picked up some musical tips from the older students and enjoyed watching them play a host of instruments including guitars, flutes and violins.
