A WEEKLY street market in Nailsea has moved to a new home.

The Tuesday market, which used to take place in the Link Road car park, is now being held every week in Somerset Square, part of the Crown Glass Shopping Centre.

The centre already plays host to the monthly farmers' and craft markets, which continue to grow and gain support.

Crown Glass Shopping Centre manager James Lucas said: "The centre has very recently had a change of ownership and the new owners are keen to promote anything that will add to the vitality of the town centre.

"We offer a very warm welcome to the stall holders and hope to build this event up to become a thriving part of the town centre.
