TWO campaigners are preparing to bare all to protest against a Spanish 'sport' they believe to be 'agonisingly cruel'.Helen Brumby and Patrick Haines, both aged 25, will strip off and take part in this year's Running of the Nudes in Pamplona on July 5.The couple, who live in Ellenburgh Place, Weston, will run naked through the city in the sixth annual event two days before the city's Running of the Bulls.Helen and Patrick, pictured above, will join thousands of people who believe the Running of the Bulls, when scores of Spaniards and tourists chase bulls through the city's cobbled streets, is wrong.Helen, who works in legal services, said: "For centuries this cowardly, pathetic and agonisingly cruel 'sport' has been allowed to continue, mostly being funded by tourists."It has to stop - and if by our presence we can swell local support to drive this bloodbath spectacle off the face of this planet forever then that is a journey, however uncomfortable, worth making."With the Running of the Nudes we are making a statement saying 'out with the old, in with the nude'."We are bringing attention to the fact that although we don't agree with the bull run, we can provide a fun, humane and compassionate alternative.
