A NATURE reserve in Hutton is almost ready for its official public opening.
The parish council has been working on the two-and-a-half-acre site in Moor Lane since it purchased the land last year.
So far, a pond has been dug, hedgerows and trees planted and seating installed.
The work has been helped by a �10,000 lottery grant won earlier this year.
A provisional date for the park opening for September 24.
