A NEW allotment overseer has been appointed in Cheddar.
The parish council voted to create the new post so allotment tenants would have a point of contact to discuss issues with.
The council is currently considering creating more small plots are many people have said they do not want the responsibility of tending a large area.
The new post has been taken by councillor Andy Bosley, who also has an allotment at the site off Upper New Road.
