A NEW councillor was voted onto Badgworth Parish Council on Thursday.
Two candidates were fighting for the one remaining seat on the authority and it was a tough contest.
But it was John White who won with 81 votes, beating Stuart Babbington by just three points.
The new councillor takes the place of Chris Byrne, who initially got onto the council during the May elections, but was disqualified for failing to turn up to the first meeting.
