A PARISH council in North Somerset is looking for a new representative after one of its members stepped down.

Neil Bentley resigned from his post at Winscombe and Sandford Parish Council’s meeting on October 24, saying he felt he was unable to commit to the time required for the post due to work and family commitments.

Parish council chairman Archie Forbes said: “We wish Neil well and thank him for his service to the parish council. We are now welcoming applications for anyone who wishes to serve on the council.”
