BANWELL Parish Council needs two new councillors, after one of its current representatives had to step down.

Richard Griffin has decided to resign from the authority due to work commitments, and his decision was announced at the council’s last meeting.

That means the council now has two vacancies, with the other post vacant for several months.

Anyone interested in joining the council should contact clerk Kevin Barrett by emailing banwellclerk@btinternet.com
