A DEFIBRILLATOR has finally been installed in Churchill after a fundraising campaign by villagers.
The potentially lifesaving piece of equipment has been placed outside Churchill Memorial Hall in Ladymead Lane.
Anyone who calls 999 with symptoms of a cardiac arrest will be directed to the nearest defibrillator location before an ambulance arrives, saving precious time in an emergency.
The funds for the defibrillator were raised by the Rotary Club of Wrington Vale, Churchill Tree Care, Churchill Parish Council, Clumber Lodge B&B and the village fund.
