A NEW photography exhibition has opened at one of Weston-super-Mare’s museums, featuring more than 140 images.
The exhibition, called Salvation, opened at The Helicopter Museum in Locking Moor Road this weekend and will run until the spring.
Photographer Miranda Litchfield took the shots at the aviation attraction over a six-month period. Her aim was to look at the aircraft at the museum, including those not yet on public display, from a unique perspective using modern photographic techniques.
Ms Litchfield said: “I set out to create an alternative photographic archive of helicopter character that will give the public a much closer look at the exhibits than they would normally expect.
“This enables the viewer to effectively peel back the layers and look beneath the surface of these incredible machines.”
