MUSIC and movie retailer That’s Entertainment has been confirmed as the replacement for Head in Weston’s Sovereign Shopping Centre.

The independent store closed down last weekend after three years in the town centre, but its successor is set to begin trading by the end of the month.

That’s Entertainment, a music, film and games retailer, has 31 stores already open nationwide, with Gloucester and Cardiff currently its nearest branches to Weston.

Nick Cook, the shopping centre’s manager, said: “I am hoping they are going to be starting work in the second week of June, which will take about a week to complete.

“With that in mind, we have a target of mid to late June to open. It will be selling the same sort of merchandise, but within a much larger operation.”
