TWO Clevedon parks will be receiving a long-awaited facelift this month.
Children using the play area in Hazell Close will soon be able to enjoy a new slide and dog-proof fencing and a new gate is also being put in by the end of the month.
A zip wire and roundabout were installed in November.
Some of the equipment at Salthouse Fields is also being replaced, including the climbing net, the seesaw and the toddler's swings.
North Somerset Council is carrying out the work, which is due to be completed by the end of March.
