Vistors to the Museum of Prehistory in Cheddar are in for a surprise following a £400,000 upgrade.

The Cheddar Gorge and Caves museum has now unveiled its new look, which comes hot on the heels of the launch of a new attraction in Cox’s Cave.

The new experiences at Cox’s include new attraction Dreamhunters – The Adventures Of Early Man, a multi-media exploration of the life of modern man’s long-ago ancestors.

The museum has been closed for four weeks while major refurbishment works have taken place, but has reopened to share its story about how our ancestors survived the Ice Age.
